Research Program in Dentistry for Faculty Members

This hybrid course (virtual/face-to-face) has been prepared with the objective of training dental undergraduate and postgraduate professors in research so that they can guide their students in conducting academic research. In this way, it would be possible to promote the development of research projects, as well as increase the number of publications in scientific journals in the Caribbean region.

This course has been divided into 5 virtual modules, which must be completed in asynchronous mode. In addition, a face-to-face module has been designed, which in this first edition will be held at Universidad Iberoamericana (Unibe), Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on October 9 and 10, 2023.
Participants will find in each module videos previously recorded by expert researchers in each area and different resources such as research papers that must be read and carefully analyzed.

Additionally, at the end of each module, each participant must complete a test in which they must have 100% correct answers in order to continue with the following module. In case of not achieving 100%, the participant will have to reinforce the content of the module in which they have failed to achieve 100% correct answers and continue with the next module. At the end of each test, you will be able to access a document with the answers with comments.
